โรงเรียนสุรวิวัฒน์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารีได้กำหนดเป้าหมายหรือวิสัยทัศน์ไว้คือ : "โรงเรียนสุรวิวัฒน์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี เป็นหน่วยงานเพื่อสังคมที่จัดการศึกษา ค้นคว้า วิจัย ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และภาษา เพื่อสร้างสรรค์นักวิจัยและนวัตกรเพื่อสังคมชั้นนำของประเทศ" จากการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว และท่ามกลางบริบทการพัฒนาในกระแสการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่รวดเร็วนั้น โรงเรียนสุรวิวัฒน์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี จะต้องเผชิญกับการแข่งขันที่สูงมากขึ้น ดังนั้น โรงเรียนสุรวิวัฒน์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารีจะต้องมีการปรับตัวและรับมือกับสถานการณ์ที่เป็นทั้งโอกาส และอุปสรรคของการพัฒนาพื้นที่ในทุก ๆ มิติ ดังนั้นเพื่อเป็นการกำหนดทิศทางในการพัฒนาของโรงเรียนสุรวิวัฒน์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี ในการจัดการเรียนการสอน เพื่อสอดคล้องกับการพัฒนาชุมชน ท้องถิ่น และประเทศ ภายใต้บริบทหน่วยกิจการเพื่อสังคมในปีการศึกษา 2566 มีการนำแผนยุทธศาสตร์มาใช้เพื่อการพัฒนาโรงเรียนสุรวิวัฒน์มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี ภายใต้พันธกิจหลักดังนี้
